"We just ended our first ever Matt Talbot Grp-97 virtual ZOOM retreat, and WOW! The reason I say that
is over the past year of COVID-19 I’ve done enough virtual meetings and I wasn’t quite sure I was going
to make this. But, in the end I did decide to make it and I’ve got to say I thoroughly enjoyed it. The
retreat master Paul was great and the group discussions were awesome, something I truly missed , it felt
like we were right there at the retreat house. But… we didn’t have ice-cream on Saturday night after the
AA meeting ☹, but as luck would have it everyone brought their own! I have to holler out to the Board-
of-Officers for a job well done, you guys done great. It is nice to know that regardless of what’s going on
in our country we Alcoholics can still get together for our retreat to share our Experience, Strength and
Hope with each other. Remember, it’s a WE program, so maybe I’ll see YOU there next time.." - Mike L.
“I’ve been married for 14 years and have four children. Coming to retreat is the best recharge I could ask for and each one has served a different purpose.” - Bill R.
“People who come here get rejuvenated. They are ready to go back to their jobs, their families, and their churches with a renewed vigor.”
- Father Charles Moutenot, S.J.
